It condemns promiscuous behavior, including homosexual acts, that are real, sinful and abominable. Nowhere does the Bible say that people who commit those acts are born this way or that they can not change. Rather the opposite - by listing homosexual acts together with adultery and incest, the Scripture implies that just as there are men who choose to have extramarital relationships, there are men who choose to sleep with other men. All those choices are unequivocally condemned.

As for being "naturally" attracted to same sex: how could attraction to something that is unnatural be "natural"? Human body is designed, so that men are attracted to women and the other way around. If it happens that a man is attracted to another man - then something in his body doesn't function well, something is broken, disordered, and it better be fixed than left as is.

The homosexual lobby wants us to believe that their sexual choices can't be changed. The facts however show otherwise - it is possible for homosexuals to overcome their abnormal inclinations. Yes, the options that are available nowadays may not be perfect. But by opposing any efforts to encourage homosexuals to change, by insisting that homosexuality is genetically predetermined and can't be changed, the homosexual lobby effectively prevents scientists from developing better, more effective ways to help these people overcome their disorder and return to normal life.

P.S. Make sure you don't confuse "opposite" with "same". Your comment almost sounds as if you believe that normal man-woman relationships are not right.Leonardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01745434180812340088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1262113763277382013.post-17136972409074760132011-02-26T00:47:12.945-04:002011-02-26T00:47:12.945-04:00While I agree that being attracted to the opposite...While I agree that being attracted to the opposite sex is not right, I definitely believe that a large number of the people who claim to be gay/lesbian are naturally attracted to that opposite sex. The bible doesn't hint at homosexuality as being a myth - no, it identifies it as a real and sinful thing. Being gay or lesbian is not a choice for all people, but what they do about it is. It is not right to act on those feelings, however awful it must be to deny themselves. They must instead focus on the glory of God if they wish to overcome their inclination to sin.
The world is constantly getting worse, but I don't believe that gay people should be persecuted or treated any different than anyone else. Everyone sins and everyone needs God. :).https://www.blogger.com/profile/00282185266690123024noreply@blogger.com
