Behind Bars For Saving Babies' Lives

Linda Gibbons, Toronto pro-life apostle is awaiting trial for preaching the gospel of life outside of an abortuary. Her trial is scheduled to resume on September 30th. Up until then, Linda is securely locked behind bars - no release on bail, no right to go home on weekends - nothing that would be available to a teenage purse-snatcher with multiple counts of parole violations is available to Linda. So far Linda has spent almost 6 years behind bars for nothing but speaking up for the unborn babies' right to life. So why is she being treated even worse than a rapist or an armed robber? Here's why:
Talking to Show the Truth leader Rosemary Connell from prison on Sunday, Gibbons noted that a piece of pro-life literature sent to her in a letter saved a baby's life. "Linda said women will often sit down with her as she opens her mail," Connell told LifeSiteNews.com. "A woman watching her one day last week saw the pamphlet and told Linda that she was pregnant and planning an abortion because 'the CAS would take the child anyway'."

Connell concluded, "Linda talked to her and gave her the pamphlet. The next morning she told Linda that she had changed her mind and is letting the baby live"

The pro-abortion lobby knows that there's no way they could win the argument on fetal rights. So they don't even try. They just push ahead with their "bubble zone" laws which allow them to simply imprison pro-lifers rather than arguing with them.

Wondering if you could elaborate a little on "in jail for six years".
She has been in jail for six years without a trial and without bail and do you know the jurisdiction?
Ontario,Bangladesh,China,Russia?
Curious why i hadn't heard about this before?

Here's how it works in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Ontario: Linda Gibbons gets arrested for distributing plastic fetus dolls (or simply - for praying) outside of an abortuary. Why? Because a there is a "temporary" (14-year-old) injunction that bans pro-life protests next to abortion facilities. And, since that's not the first time she gets arrested for the very same "crime", they send her straight to jail, where she must await trial. (No release on bail for a peaceful pro-lifer, sorry!)

The trial follows few months later (meanwhile she's still in jail). In the end, the judge convicts Linda of "obstructing peace officer" or something similar and hands out a sentence which pretty much covers the time she's already served, so Linda is released a few days later. Once released, Linda goes back to the abortuary and prays or puts plastic fetus dolls on the stairs. The abortuary security calls the police. Linda gets arrested and spends few more months in jail until the next trial.

According to the Life Site News article, Linda's total time in jail amounted to over 5 years. That was few months ago, so now that's closer to six. Hence - almost 6 years.

And the reason you haven't heard about this before is because the mainstream media would never bother to mention her story. If it wasn't for the Life Site News, I wouldn't know anything about it either.
