In Canada we have a law (Section 223 of the Criminal Code) stating that the unborn are not human beings until they have proceeded entirely from the mother's womb. This means that even if the little toe of the baby remains in the birth canal, it is still not considered a human being and can be killed with no consequences whatsoever. Please take a few minutes to write your letter for life.
MP Stephen Woodworth has proposed Motion 312, to open the discussion about the humanity of the unborn. This would mean a possible reconsideration of this outdated law that was first enacted 400 years ago in British common law. Please support this motion to recognize children in the womb as human beings! Write your letter(s) today.
In Canada alone, 100,000 unborn children are aborted every year. Around the world, one child is killed every three seconds.

From the Titanic 2012 conference website:
One of the most well-known phrases associated with the sinking of the Titanic is "Women and Children First."Those who have a bias against traditional Judeo-Christian values, can compare the actions of the crew and the passengers of the Titanic with what took place 100 years later, on board of the Costa Concordia. And judge for themselves if those social changes that they tout as progress, have really made our society any better - or if the result is just the opposite.
COURAGEOUS MEN stepped aside to certain death in order to allow women and children onto the lifeboats first. This event powerfully represents the principle of Biblical manhood for all the world to see.
This was a testimony to the fact that a person's beliefs and worldview matter - and a testimony to the cultural implications of Christianity.
Did you know that the Japanese Ambassador at the time wrote to the American President and told him that if the Titanic had been a Japanese ship, the outcome would have been very different? Why? Because, in that culture, men were most important, followed by children, and lastly women.
Yes, Christian faith and the Christian religion have unique real-world implications for justice and mercy and the glory of God - and for COURAGEOUS MANHOOD.
The Courageous Manhood Titanic 2012 conference and banquet is ChristianGovernance's second annual Biblical worldview event. The banquet is also a fundraiser for ChristianGovernance.
ChristianGovernance is a teaching and training ministry in Biblical worldview and apologetics.
The theme of this year's Biblical worldview banquet is COURAGEOUS MANHOOD. That is why we are highlighting the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
