CBC Sugarcoats $36Billion Tax Hike

The Green party election platform, unveiled today proposes a GST hike and a $50 per tonne carbon tax. (Which is $10 higher than what's proposed by the Liberals.) Overall, the tax impact is projected to be $36 to $37 Billion. Compared to that even the Liberal $15.4B "green shaft" looks like nothing. But what does the CBC headline say? "Elizabeth May pledges surpluses".

Looks like someone at the CBC really wants May to get elected. Well, why wouldn't they help a Sierra Club activist and a Liberal Candidate for Central Nova? Especially if she took her time to reaffirm her strong support for abortion and if she not only promises to legalize marijuana, but also goes as far as apologizing for never having smoked it before?

Hey again, Leonard! Thanks for posting this article about ellie-may. One of my better friends is running around the county helping his local greenie candidate. sigh.

You don't need to publish this comment, but I wanted to make you aware of something that the "New Facebook" is doing when we share your links. The Scripture text at the top of your blog shows up immediately under what is posted as if, for example, ellie-may is quoting Eph. 6:13.

Is there some way to change whatever in your HTML so that it doesn't show up that way in Facebook? Here's my post of your post (if you can actually view it, not being my "friend"...)

Not much I could do about facebook - it reads the top frame by default, so unless I remove the top frame altogether - the quote will keep appearing.
