Jack Layton, RIP

It's hard not to think about Jack Layton, as a politician, as a charismatic leader; a rival, indeed, yet an honorable rival. But let's pause from politics for a minute and think of Jack as a person. As a family man who raised two children. As a man of integrity, who believed in what he stood for and acted upon his convictions. As a man of courage, who, on his death bed, took the trouble to share his experience with other people that are battling cancer, to give them a few words of encouragement. May he rest in peace...
