March For Life. Ottawa. 2012

Check out SoCon or Bust for coverage:

While some media sources dispute the turnout numbers, arguing whether it was 19,500 or just 10,000, what is obvious to all - the March for Life has become the largest annual protest in the capital. Like it or not, the abortion debate goes on:
Asked about a motion put forward by one of his backbench MPs to examine the issue, using science, of when life begins, Harper said he would not vote for the motion and he was disappointed it was even discussed in the House of Commons.

Heaven forbid our MPs debate something as insignificant as when life begins.

Despite all this, a crowd of 15,000 or more, and organizers do claim more, paraded from Parliament Hill through the streets of Ottawa.

These were normal people, young and old, from all walks of life who just wanted to make sure their voices were heard.

Unfortunately in too much of our media, the only time the voices of pro-lifers are heard is when there is an attempt to use them.
Here in New Brunswick, the March for life is this Thursday.
